Sonja's Boutique Group Trips are unique, customized, one-of-a-kind small group trips. The group size might be as few as 6 but will never be more than 18 people. The length of the trip will be from 8-15 days. Each Boutique Group Trip has a unique itinerary and is a one-time trip opportunity. Unlike most group travel experience, you won't find the same itinerary offered year after year with several date options.
Our boutique trips allow us to visit and experience places that are not conducive to a large coach bus with 40+ people. The trips are special in the fact that with a small group there is room for some flexibility during the trip if a unique experience becomes available or if we want to spend a little extra time at a location. Everything is pre-planned to keep your mind at ease; no decisions to make, waiting in line, figuring out transportation and tickets....just sit back and enjoy while Sonja manages the details!

To make it one of the most enjoyable travel experiences for you, I am your personal escort on every Sonja's Boutique Group Trip. I'll make sure all of the details are planned and everything is ready for your travel. Then during the trip, I'll be right there with you to make sure that everything goes as planned. If anything out of the ordinary should occur you won't have to worry, I will be there to take care of it. What could be better than having your travel counselor right there with you!

The 2015 Sonja's Boutique Trip traveled to Italy, Austria and Germany. Some of the Boutique experiences were a private history and wine trip in the heart of Tuscany, a 2-day Italian cooking class where we stayed in the Tuscan countryside, cooking and eating at a family farmhouse, and a private beer tour visiting several historical monastery breweries along the Bavarian Abbey Beer Trail. The 2017 Sonja's Boutique Trip was a bit different with 2 segments. The first segment of the trip was a two-week Transatlantic crossing departing from Ft. Lauderdale and arriving in Barcelona, Spain, with exclusive private tours at all ports of call along the way. Here are just a few things we experienced; learning about Portuguese Tile Art and making our own tile, visiting a flamenco guitar maker and learning about these hand made instruments, a flamenco show, a private tour of Barcelona including La Sagrada Familia and a private wine and gastronomy tour. Once we reached Barcelona there was also an extensive 4-week land tour of Spain and Portugal totally immersing us in the local culture. Here are a few of the highlights; Valencia and a paella cooking class, Granada with a private tour of the Alhambra, Seville spending a day with a flamenco dancer and a private dance lesson, Lagos it's beautiful beaches and a hike to the end of the world, in Porto a private tour of a port lodge and a trip up the Douro Valley finishing in Lisbon with private trips to Sintra to the Pena Palace and to Cascais for a private cooking class, it was a fabulous trip!
